Main Stage Crew Information
CREW Tuition
Crew show tuition will only be collected for students who are assigned a role on crew for the show.
- $100 for students who opt-out of having a parent/guardian participating in a production team production team
- $0 for students who opt-in to having a parent/guardian participating in a production team or who are enrolled in our technical theater class.
- For students also registered for a class the show tuition will be reduced even further based on the automatic tuition scholarship (10-40%)
Here are a couple quick examples of how class and show tuition with the automatic tuition scholarship would work:
Example 1 - a single student taking 1 class who is assigned to crew with a parent commiting to a production team
- $295 early bird class tution for the season (for a class other than Technical Theater).
- $100 show crew tuition
- $395 - 10% automatic scholarship = $355.50
Example 2 - two students taking 1 class each, one as cast in the show and one as crew, with a parent commiting to a production team
- $295 x 2 = $590 early bird class tution for the season
- $225 x 1 = $225 cast tuition
- $100 x 1 = $100 crew tuition
- $915 - 30% automatic scholarship = $640.50
The more class and show participation in a single household the higher the automatic tuition scholarship is, with a cap of 40%.
See the bottom of this page for more details on our automatic tuition scholarships and other need based scholarship opportunities
Rehearsal & Performance Information
Producing a successful musical is very rewarding, but it requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Theater is just like any team sport: all the players are important and when one crew member is missing, it affects everyone. Before registering for Crew for the show, please make sure that you are aware of the large commitment involved in participating in this production:
Initial Meeting: There will be a read through and meet the cast gathering on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 5:30-8:30 pm. If you miss this meeting, contact Mrs. Bowman for more information.
Schedule: You can view all rehearsals on a calendar here. Please note that this schedule may change as the show process develops. Crew must attend all of their scheduled rehearsals, however, please note that not all students will be needed for each rehearsal.
Tech/Dress Week: will be February 28 through March 3. All cast and crew will be at evening rehearsals during this time.
Performances: Will be as follows: Friday, March 4, 7pm; Saturday, March 5, 3pm; Sunday, March 6, 4pm; Friday, March 11, 7pm; Saturday, March 12, 11am and 3pm; and Sunday March 13 4pm.
Mandatory Meeting: There will be a All Cast & Crew Parent/Guardian Meeting on January 4 during rehearsal. Attendance is required, whether you are serving on a Production Team or not. At this informational meeting, you will meet the Artistic Team, we will review Cast & Crew expectations, go over the rehearsal and show process and review the online Callboard. Those serving on a Production Team will meet with their team and start preparations and there will be time for Q & A. The meeting will likely last about 1.5-2 hours. Students who are 18+ who will be serving on their own Production Team and/or will be doing all show participation/involvement on their own, do not need a parent/guardian to attend. If you are not able to attend this meeting, you'll need to schedule a time to meet with Amy Bowman to review this information.

About James and the Giant Peach
When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach... and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Suddenly, James finds himself in the center of the gigantic peach, among human-sized insects with equally oversized personalities, but after it falls from the tree and rolls into the ocean, the group faces hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements. Thanks to James' quick wit and creative thinking, the residents learn to live and work together as a family. The dangerous voyage is a success, but the adventure takes a whole new twist once they land on the Empire State Building.
We would love to have you join us this winter for James and the Giant Peach. Make sure you have read through all the topics above and if you have any questions at all please reach out as we are happy to help!
